While FIA World Endurance Championship teams gear up for the Six Hours of Sao Paulo, take a look back at Toyota’s efforts from the 90th anniversary 24 Hours of Le Mans with this short film, released by the Japanese manufacturer late last week.
The No. 8 Toyota TS030 Hybrid of Stephane Sarrazin, Anthony Davidson and Sebastien Buemi finished second in the twice-around-the-clock endurance classic, just one lap behind the race-winning Audi.
The two LMP1 factory squads will resume its title battle this weekend in Brazil, which will, however, see a scaled back effort for Toyota, which will only field its No. 8 entry for the next two races.
Sarrazin, Davidson and Buemi trail the championship-leading Audi crew of Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen and Loic Duval by 31 points heading into the South American round.
