They break down James Stewart’s big win, discuss the tricky Joker Lane section and preview the 2014 Supercross season, which kicks off Jan. 4 at Anaheim Stadium.
Feld Motor Sports has unveiled the 2013 Ricky Carmichael-designed Monster Energy Cup track, which will play host to Supercross’ top riders on Saturday.
Carmichael has elected to keep most of last year’s track elements, reverse the layout and, quite simply, go bigger.
“After last year’s race, we immediately rolled up our sleeves and began working on the next generation of this track,” said five-time Supercross champion Carmichael. “I didn’t want to change the dynamics of it but wanted to fine tune what already made for one of the greatest tracks I have ever seen, and coming away from last year’s race, I knew the joker lane was a must-have.”

Unadilla was a part of the inaugural Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship in 1972.
Unadilla has some of the most uniquely-named obstacles in the country like the Gravity Cavity, the Wall, and the Skyshot.
With over 40 years of hosting world-class motocross racing, Unadilla is one of the sport’s most historic venues and was recognized as such when it hosted a “Retro National” during the 2009 season.
A total of 12 different winners have stood atop the Unadilla podium across the 450 and 250 Classes over the last seven seasons – six in the 450 Class and six in the 250 Class.
