The first emotional highlight of the 2013 Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Collector-Car Event came just 15 minutes into our live coverage on FOX Sports 2. The Wounded Warriors Family Support’s 2012 Shelby Mustang GT500 SVT Super Snake sold for $500,000 to noted collector Don Damon, who won a $96.6 million Powerball jackpot back in the fall of 2009.

Wrapped in red, white and blue vinyl and driven through 48 states during a five-week driving tour, the car has the signatures of hundreds of individuals who support and respect the brave fighting men and women of our military.

Every penny of the $500,000 sale will go to the Wounded Warriors Family Support and help in its mission to provide support to families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during combat operations.
