American MotoGP legend Kevin Schwantz knows the feeling of the magic carpet ride that has been Marc Marquez’s breathtaking start to the MotoGP season.

Two wins and two pole positions with a perfect score of 50 points has established a platform for back-to-back world championships.

MotoGP: Pirro to substitute for Crutchlow in Argentina

Cal Crutchlow will not be fit in time to represent Ducati Team in Argentina as he continues to recover from his accident in Austin and subsequent surgery.

After Crutchlow’s crash in the race at Austin, the British rider had initially been diagnosed with a dislocated right little finger, but further checks at a specialized centre in San Diego revealed that he had also suffered a tiny fracture of the finger and as a result it was decided that he should undergo a small operation to insert a stabilizing pin.

After the second staging of the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas at the state-of-the-art track in Austin, Bridgestone have reviewed the weekend from a tire perspective, after another busy event for the premier class tire supplier.

Track conditions for the race at the Circuit of The Americas were dry, although much cooler than the practice and qualifying sessions. A peak track temperature of just 33°C was recorded during the 21-lap race. Masao Azuma, Chief Engineer, Bridgestone Motorsport Tire Development Department, reviewed the weekend, as follows:
