A 20-turn street circuit consisting of four chicanes on the roads of Beijing has been revealed as the inaugural circuit for the new Formula E Championship.

The series will run ten races from September 2014 to June 2015, and will race on street courses only in cities such as Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro and Monte Carlo and will finish up the season in London. The long straights and late braking zones drawn out in the design hope to provide for some exciting racing to kick off the series, which will be shown LIVE on Fox Sports 1 all season long.
