Stefan Bradl secured third in Q2 at the German Grand Prix and admits he is ready to fight for a win at his home race.
Bradl brought the home fans to their feet as he helped to secure a complete Honda lock out of the front row. The German has looked strong all weekend and has had previous success in the 125cc and Moto2 classes at his home track, with podiums in each.
Bradl briefly led qualifying, but was knocked down the order by the factory pair of Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Bradl’s best time of 1:21.340s was just 0.403s slower than Marquez’s record-breaking pole lap.
